In this article, we deal with the topic of the Samaria papyri from Wadi Daliyeh in three main parts implied by the title. First, we briefly summarize the basic data related to the manuscripts. Second, we analyze their significance for the history of Samaria.
Third, the last section is devoted to the meaning of the papyri for the history of the Samaritans. The articles in this volume originated from lectures given in two meetings devoted to the Samaritans.
